Frequently Asked Questions
Thinking about starting therapy? You probably have questions.
That’s completely normal. I want you to feel informed and comfortable before we begin. Below are answers to the most frequently asked questions I receive from clients regarding logistics, the therapy process, and what to expect.
My office is in West Palm Beach, near the intersection of Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. and Village Blvd. (next to the Texaco gas station).
I’m available Monday – Thursday, 11 AM to 8 PM.
In-office sessions: Monday and Wednesday only
Telehealth sessions: Monday – Thursday
Standard sessions are 50 minutes.
I do not bill insurance directly at this time. I can provide a Superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out‑of‑network reimbursement.
I’m continuing to assess the best payment options for my practice, so I’m happy to discuss questions about insurance and reimbursement during a consultation.
I decided to stop taking insurance so I could give my clients more time, attention, and flexibility. This allows me to focus fully on your care without restrictions from insurance companies.

I have a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with a focus on Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy. I’m a Certified Addiction Professional and an EMDR-Trained therapist.
I work with adults aged 18 and older.
Yes! I work with women, men, couples, and all identities across the spectrum. My expertise is emotional regulation, trauma recovery and improving interpersonal communication dynamics.
In a nutshell, we’ll explore the situations and thought patterns creating stress or emotional pain, and develop tools to help you heal from past wounds, manage anxiety, and create lasting change.
Absolutely! Homework can maximize the benefit of therapy, so I often provide exercises or journaling prompts for between sessions.
If you are allergic to homework or prone to your dog eating it, that’s okay, too – we’ll find other ways to help you process and grow.
I integrate Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma and emotional healing.
Engage with the process! Do the homework, practice new skills, and bring your honest thoughts and feelings to sessions. You only get out of this what you put into it. If you give me half the truth, I can only give you half the help.
Bring yourself and anything that helps you feel comfortable. This might be an emotional support pet (if allowed), a cozy blanket, a playlist, pen/paper, or even a water bottle. My goal is to create a safe, calming environment for you.

Many clients feel anxious at first. Therapy is a space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. All you have to do is show up, and I will take it from there.
Every therapist is different, and the right fit matters. I use evidence-based methods like CBT and EMDR and tailor each session to your unique needs. If something isn’t working for you, we’ll adjust the approach together.
Therapy is most effective when you’re open, engaged, and committed to the process. Many clients start to feel relief after a few sessions, while others experience deep transformation over time.
It depends on your goals. Some clients come for a few months to work on a specific issue, while others stay longer for ongoing support and personal growth.
